NutriaBox ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect We collect: Age, Weight, Height, Gender, Dietary preferences, Activity level, Food log entries. We do not collect information from third-party sources without your explicit consent.

When you use AI features (meal plan generation, plate analysis, chat assistant), the text or images you submit are temporarily processed by our AI provider solely to generate results. We do not store these inputs on our servers.

Device data: Device model, Operating system version, App usage analytics, Crash logs.

2. How We Use Your Information Your data is used exclusively to: Calculate calorie targets, Generate personalized meal suggestions, Analyze food images, Provide AI-powered assistance, Improve app functionality. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage Your health profile and food log data is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in, synced to your Firebase account. AI inputs are processed only at the moment of use and are not stored permanently. Subscription and purchase status is managed by RevenueCat.

4. Camera & Photos The plate scanner requires camera access solely to capture food images for nutritional analysis. Images are not stored after processing.

5. Children's Privacy NutriaBox is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

6. Data Retention Data is retained only as long as necessary. If you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA) You have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to processing of your data. Contact [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

8. Third-Party Services Firebase (Google), OpenAI, RevenueCat, Apple App Store / Google Play, Expo / React Native. We do not sell your data to any third party.
